Pete Reis-Campbell Wins Young Entrepreneur of the Year at FSB Awards

On 17th April, Kaizen attended the awards ceremony for the FSB Awards (Greater London division), where we were nominated for two awards: Scale-Up Business of the Year, and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Pete’s work in establishing an industry-leading content marketing agency in just five years.

Taking place at the Royal Horseguards Hotel in Westminster, the awards ceremony was run by the Federation of Small Businesses, supporting regional independent business success. There were some incredible other brands present, including the BMABA who promote grass roots participation in martial arts, with dedicated programmes to ensure disadvantaged children are able to access effective, safe self-defence tuition without charge. Another stand-out brand was the winner of the ‘Ethical-Green Business of the Year’ Upcircle Beauty, who created a completely sustainable cosmetic product using leftover coffee beans from cafes and food shops, won the investment of 3 dragons on Dragon’s Den and are now rolling out their product in 740 Boots stores nationwide this year.

Pete, on winning the award:

The category of ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ had some phenomenal finalists and I am incredibly humbled to win the award. I am so proud of the whole team who have all contributed to this, and proud of how far Kaizen has come in the last five years. I begun the company from my bedroom in Dalston, and now have 21 full-time employees, all aligned with the same goals and ambition. I’m so excited to have this recognition from the FSB, and look forward to meeting the other brilliant businesses taking part in the national finals.

What makes our company stand out is the fact that we’re a team of specialists in SEO, Content, Digital PR, Graphic Design, and FE Development, who take care of the complete content marketing process, from the concept, to the research and design, to the outreach and SEO reports. Each project gets passed between every department to create a fully synergised product at the fraction of the cost of hiring individual specialists.

Pete is now a finalist for the nation-wide ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year’ Award, with the ceremony taking place on the 23rd May.

Fingers crossed for another win!
