  • The role

    Primarily, the work will involve usage of Javascript (Node.js) & APIs to produce reporting dashboards in Tableau in-conjunction with a project manager. These dashboards are hosted in Heroku and utilise Github for deployment. 


    Secondly, you will work alongside our UX designers to convert their designs into interactive web applications that utilise HTML, CSS, Javascript Frameworks (React or similar) and XML that will be promoted to newspapers and media outlets.


    You will also receive training on Technical SEO and support on the implementation of web development tasks.

  • Key responsibilties

    • Create, maintain and deploy Node.js based code that interacts with APIs that output XML files for the purpose of Tableau reporting dashboards
    • Ability to write HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript to an professional level and ideally comfortable working with API’s in JSON / XML formats
    • Build and maintain the company website which is built utilising WordPress APIs. this will also involve landing page creation 
    • Working as a team with our in-house UX Designer to consult on design and layouts from a coding perspective
    • Building in-house tools and technology to assist in automating our SEO & Content Marketing strategies
  • About you

    • 2 years commercial experience in utilising front-end Javascript libraries and frameworks (Node & React) for web development
    • Comfortable with Heroku and Github
    • Worked in an Agency Environment
    • Logical thinker who regularly solves problems by employing creative solutions
    • Enjoys multi-tasking and has very strong personal organisation skills.
    • Experienced in communicating with clients
